I spent some of my High School years on Oahu. I still shake out my shoes before I put them on. We had a jacuzzi in the back yard. One time a centipede fell off the awning and stung my Dad's boss in the neck. When the exterminators came to clear out the rest of the centipedes they came out of their holes in an intermittent stream for half an hour. Some looked to be about a foot long. I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande.

Oh I feel you! The crawly crawly centipedes are the worst for me....shudder!

Boom Trucks

ewwww. OK if i go to Maui i'm wearing a hard had in the shower and steel toes to the beach. between falling snakes, centipedes and jelly fish that place sounds a little risky. oh, not to mention man eating sharks!
