Why are you doing this?
These wacky graphics caught my eye and I just started photographing and collecting them. Out of context they are quite hilarious in all their graphic brutalness. What do I do if I have a product or service I would like to advertise on your site? Please send me an email at safetygraphicfun [@] gmail [dot] com and we can discuss it. What do you do when you're not working on your site? I write for some other blogs and have a freelance day job in Los Angeles. What's your favorite Safety Graphic? Hands down my favorite is the Electric Monster. The evil face, the fact that he attacks children. Awesome! Why do you sometimes photoshop the picture to make them look more ridiculous? Sometimes it makes the sign funny, and so I post it. Like this one. What country do you think has the most convoluted safety graphics? I can't pick one country, but some of the best worst translations come from China and Japan. The images from Japan are fantastic -- great cartoon characters who demonstrate the hazards of life. What is your favorite "complaint" comment from someone who clearly didn't "get" the site? There are two things that make me smile: 1) when people explain to me why my interpretation of the graphic is wrong and 2) when people tell me how wrong my foreign translations are. I like to point out that I'm not trying to translate foreign languages into English. I'm trying to translate Safety Signs into Funny.
I don't know how to use photoshop. If a picture is altered in some way, be it in real life or in photoshop, it happened way before it got to me. I don't change a thing.
